Mold Restoration
Repair of old molds. Projects include new parts, mold cleaning, as well as machining of holes and plates that have become misaligned or have developed curvature. If your preform mold is producing preforms with "side" we can machine mold plates and cavity, core and guide pin holes on an as needed basis.
Blow Shells
Bottle and jar blow shells. Aluminum 6061 and 7075. Iron neck and bottom (steel 2083 available). China pin bush.
Cap Molds
Bottle and jar cap molds including complex designs such as butterfly spice jar flip cap mold.
Replacement Parts
Replacement parts for existing molds including cores, cavities, cavity lips, guide pins, heater nozzles, ejector rods, blow shell necks and bottom. Parts are made with highest quality 2083 or 2316 steel hardened to 45-48HRC or with P20, as needed. Parts are made with guarantee of no flash and preform weight within 5% variation (though we are typically within 2-3%). Customers who need new cores with weight variation are told in advance whether desired weight can be achieved or not (based on analysis of existing preform).
